Welcome to London! From the Harry Potter studio tour to Camden market, you were in my pocket : thanks to Snapchat! To discover more of my adventures, feel free to follow me (@furiouslychic). Let's get going!
My roommate and I got up quite early to catch our flight and of course the bathroom selfie at the airport was a must do! The travel went really smoothly : I got to do a bit of reading while on the plane. As soon as we landed in London, we hopped into a "Prêt à manger" to eat delicious snacks.
First thing : shopping! My roommate was so excited by the idea of going to Monki, which is her favourite shop. I love the small attention at the cashier counter where you can find free pads : such a great action!
The next day started with Covent Garden : decorations were beautiful and the Christmas spirit was definitely in the air. We ate quite a few times at "Le Pain Quotidien" during our trip and it was sooooo delicious! Full of flavors! They have lots of gluten-free and vegetarian options available. With a tasty breakfast in the belly, we went Christmas shopping.
We ended our day by the Houses of Parliament and took lots of pictures. The sun was setting very early so we were a bit offset. We happily went back to the hostel to eat and have a good night sleep.
Next : Camden town! Especially Camden market where everything is so adorable! We wandered around the small shops and ended our small trip to Yumchaa to drink tea and eat delicious gluten-free brownies.
It was time for us to head to the meeting point for the Harry Potter studio tour. We had to wait one hour in the cold for the bus, quite unpleasant but the tour was such an amazing experience! I would recommend it even if you're not a big HP fan. All the work they put into these films is totally incredible.
Chilling : what our last day was all about! We started by a delicious breakfast and lunch (yes, we went both times) at Le Pain Quotidien. Then we walked along the streets and finally headed back to the Astor Hostel. We stayed there during the whole trip and the atmosphere was really friendly.
We headed back to the airport and unfortunately our flight was delayed (shout out to Easyjet and their non-professional job). On top of that our train was late. Thanks to my IBD, I was already feeling sick since the begining of the trip and the last day was the worst. I can tell you for sure that my only goal was to go back home quickly. Nevertheless it was an amazing trip and we had lots of fun! We won't forget it soon.
