If you were using VSCO in order to preview your instagram feed to be sure that pictures look nice next to each other : you're in despair. The new VSCO update is quite disappointing. The black frame is too invasive and it's hard to get a clear idea of what your photos really look like.
I spend a few days trying to find a solution. People are suggesting some apps on Twitter, however, if you are an Android type of person : these app mostly won't be available on Play Store. That's why I did my research about a great app, easy to use and that would allow me to preview my instagram feed. That's when I found Later. However, if you are an Apple type of person, try UNUM or Planoly.
Later (previously named Latergramme) allows you to schedule your instagram posts but also to PREVIEW your instagram account! The application is available on Play Store as well as on Apple Store and it's free for basic use.
How does it work and what do I do? I still edit my picture on VSCO because I have filters that I really enjoy and will continue using. Once I'm done with my editing, I save my image to the gallery. I open the Later app and upload it in the "Media Library". Then I schedule it by clicking on "Create a post". Since I don't use the app for scheduling, I just put a random date. Once it's done, I move to the "Instagram schedule" section. You can see on the upright corner a grid square : that's your instagram account's preview! If you don't plan on scheduling your post, don't forget to remove the date. If not the app will post it for you.
