Summer is coming really fast, which means bikinis, pool and beach! Remember, how you feel in bikini isn't about your body shape but about your confidence. But today I'd like to talk to people who would like to start getting active and find a sport that is truely enjoyable. Or maybe to those who would like to change their workout routine.
I'm clearly not an athletic person but still I found some fun ways to get moving! I thought it can be helpful for some of you that's why I'm sharing what I'm currently doing to keep being active.
First of all, if you're more into calm sports, I would suggest you to try pilates. Even better : popilates. It sounds easy, but it's not. Trust me. Do you know Cassey Ho? She is a pilates instructor and does pilates videos on YouTube. You can chose to target any places of your body and you also have cardio. She also provides a workout calendar each month for free where she tells you which video to do and when. Or you can simply choose to do one or two videos once a day (it takes about 20 minutes a day). I've been doing these for 4 years now and I really enjoy it.
As I was getting more comfortable with pilates, I wanted to get something a bit more challenging. A recent discovery is Gym Direct : a french TV program where you have a full 25-minute body workout (body warming, workout and stretching). They have videos for each part of your body as well as cardio, dance, yoga... I started about one week ago and I can't stop!
Last but not least : cardio. To be completely honest with you, I hate it. That's why I try to find fun alternatives. So far, what I love to do is dancing. I turn on my Wii and start Just Dance. I'm a total addict to this game. Even better, now you can have access to the game directly on your computer and using your smartphone as a remote using JustDanceNow! How crazy is that? Are you ready for the dancefloors?
What about you? Which sports are you playing?
